Songhees Council conducted its third and final reading of the Subdivision, Development and Servicing Law on February 22, 2023. This law will be enacted under the authority of our Land Code, and is intended to provide clarity and predictability for the development and management of Songhees lands. Consistent with the Land Code, the proposed law was posted online and in the Songhees Wellness Centre on January 23, 2023. Council expects to formally enact the law at its next council meeting.
